How To Uninstall Preloaded Windows 8 Applications

Windows 8 is the new operating system released by Microsoft and contains many new features making it as one of the outstanding products that Microsoft has ever released. One of the greatest risks that is faced by most of the Windows users is removing the bloatware from a new PC. For removing such bloatwares, most of the Windows users rely on some third party applications like PC Decrapifier. However, Windows 8 is coming with some preloaded applications, which might be quite useful for the users. Whereas this is not the case with other users as they may find it very difficult and may need to be removed from the system.

Removing the Metro app that comes preinstalled within the Windows 8 is not that easy as it sounds. The only option that a user needs to consider is to navigate to the preloaded apps one by one and right click the application that you need to uninstall and from the available option, you need to select Uninstall. Using Windows 8 App Remover
  • Uninstall Windows 8 apps using Windows 8 App Remover by navigating to the website of Sourceforge and downloading it. After downloading, you need to install it on your computer. 
  • Next, you need to choose the version of Windows 8 that you are running from the drop down menu. 
  • Now, the List Apps button needs to be clicked.
  • This will pop up a window showing all the pre-loaded applications within your Windows 8 computer. 
  • After that, you need to check mark the box that is seen adjacent to the name of the application that you do not need in the Windows 8 computer and click the button called Remove.
  • Now a pop-up message will come on your screen showing you a warning about the removal. Click Yes, if you are sure about deleting it from your computer.
